Vertis Marketing Resource Management (MRM) is more than just project management software and hardware – it is a full-service workflow solution to your multi-faceted production process and asset management challenges.
Unlike other software vendors, Vertis marketing process analysts and customer support engineers audit and evaluate your current processes and workflows to recommend appropriate applications and implementation goals. Your dedicated Vertis account supervisor (AS) and customer support engineer (CSE) works as a team with you and your staff to ensure your success with the system.

Discovery & Analysis
During the discovery and analysis phase, your Vertis AS and CSE meets with you and representatives from each of your user communities to determine how best to set up the application based on the following types of information:

  • The features and functions that you need for the Campaign Management and Content Management applications.
  • The project hierarchy that represents how your organization functions.
  • The data to be collected at each level of the hierarchy.
  • The types of users, their duties, and the extent of their involvement with the system.
  • The types of assets to be stored and their organization of your assets.
  • Your reporting needs.

During this phase, the CSE presents two documents for your approval:

  • The scope document describes the extent of the solution to be implemented, the specific applications to be included, and the impact of the solution on your existing workflows or systems.
  • At the completion of this phase and the approval of the scope document, the implementation plan delineates the standard features to be configured, custom reports, any custom features, data to be supplied by the client, and the schedule for implementing and deploying the system.

Configuration & Customization
After approval of the implementation plan, your CSE works with Vertis development engineers to configure the system and develop any custom features. The CSE provides you with periodic reviews of the application screens and functions.
The CSE sets up the initial data and workflows for you, including users, permissions, company and vendor data, task templates, and workflow templates.
Your CSE works with you to set the appropriate deployment and user training dates.

User Training
Your CSE typically trains users on-site at your facility. Users who need extensive training, such as your system administrator, may find training at our site to be more convenient.
The CSE provides training classes appropriate to each user group. For example, users who will access the system to view their tasks and mark their tasks as completed require a short course. Those users who will create projects and monitor workflows require more in-depth knowledge.
The CSE also can train in-house trainers who work with new users as they come on board. Additional on-site training is also available at any time.
The CSE provides web-based training for the new features included in the periodic updates in the application.

On-Going Support Services
Help Desk is staffed by experienced engineers to handle your day-to-day questions and operational issues. Located in the same facility with your CSE and the development engineers, the Help Desk engineers have direct access to the experts if needed to escalate an issue. The call-in hours for the Help Desk span normal business hours across the continental United States. Email access and emergency after-hours access is provided.
Workflow Design and Engineering Services are available beyond the initial workflows deployed with your Vertis MRM system. Your system administrator can be trained to modify existing workflows and to create new workflow templates. For an additional fee, your CSE can create and implement the workflows for you.
Feedback and Feature Requests propel the evolution of the Vertis MRM system. Your CSE is your primary conduit for feedback, configuration changes, and new feature requests.
